Wildlife is Closer Than You Think
When travel is restricted what's better than taking a look closer to home to find an incredible array of critters.
When looking for wildlife to interact with during times of limited travel options what better thing to do than grab a camera and head into your local green space! To stave off cabin fever I recently grabbed my trusted Sony A7S2 camera, a few lenses and some cheap lighting options and headed out to some local farming lands close to my apartment. I went in search of some wildlife expecting a few beetles, maybe a gecko or two or some snails given the amount of budding flowers at this time.
To say I was blown away is an understatement. All manner of Frogs, little Asian Grass Frogs getting up to some quite compromising activity with other species for starters. Caterpillars of all sizes, shapes and amazing colors, Butterfly's, Dragonflies and a very cool little Ryukyu Green Snake. To see the other stars of this short trek into the wilds of my local green place sit back and check out this six minute video above.
Bringing you closer to the wonders of the Underwater realm from all corners of Okinawa and the Ryukyu Islands.
Come with me into the wilds of Okinawa to push back the green veil exposing natural wonders and treasures.
Landscape Photography encapsulates the beauty of the region. Let me show you how I create these special moments.
