Sony A7S2 Mirrorless Camera - US$1,100

Full English menu version. Only used for video creation. The shutter count for still shots is currently at 8543. This camera has served me well, but I'm looking to replace it with a more performant cinema camera. An absolute low-light beast, the Sony A7S2 is famous for its abilities in very low-lit conditions. Try shooting it at ISO12800; you'll be blown away by the lack of digital noise. This camera comes with the following accessories. This solid-state recorder takes the signal sent from the camera to the sensor via HDMI connection and records it before it is compressed into the MPEG4 file that this camera creates. Versatile whether as a handheld microphone or with a lapel or audio mic connected via 3.5mm audio in jack. Can record up to 5 channels through different formats and has a number of default scenario settings for quick set-up.

Rode Video Mic Go - US$65.00

A firm favorite amongst video enthusiasts. Lightweight and dependable. This item comes with a wind muffler 'dead cat', the standard Mic foam, and a 3.5mm connector jack. This unit also sits in its vibration-absorbing cage and has a hot shoe adapter fitting for simple connections to cameras and camera cages.
