On several occasions in the past, I have ventured into setting up galleries and print options using third-party and, at times, expensive accounts with printing concerns online. With a varied level of success with each attempt, I am now testing the waters before once again adopting a fully automated system. This, in turn, also allows me to keep costs down, given I do not have platform fees, etc, to concern myself with. With this in mind, I am focusing more on selling artwork beyond the standard paper or canvas print options. If you haven't already seen imagery that has been sublimation printed to aluminum, then you are definitely missing out. Apart from the incredible rendition and rich colors, this process provides there are numerous other benefits associated with artwork presented on aluminum as opposed to other mediums. These include:

• Aluminum artwork does not fade, tear or deteriorate
• Aluminum artwork can be hung in an outdoor environment
• Aluminum artwork can be cleaned of fingerprints or other residues with a cloth and most light-cleaning detergents
• Aluminum artwork has a much longer life expectancy numbering in decades as opposed to years
• Aluminum artwork is an investment. What price can be put on those golden family moments encapsulated in an image? Most of them are priceless!

How to Browse Artworks

In the portfolio, you will see a number of categories illustrated each with an example image. Click on that image to gain access to that category. Once there you will find all of the currently available artwork available for prints displayed on the page or pages linked from that location. These categories are continually evolving, with new artwork added intermittently, so ensure to come back and check them out over time.

Browsing Artwork in Categories

Two locations on each artwork will allow you to mouse click. One is by hovering over the image. This will result in the emergence of a circle icon with opposing arrows. You will see a larger version of that image with no further details by clicking on that. Click the white area around that artwork to return to the category listing. To get further details of that artwork, click on the title of the piece in question. This will take you to a page with more information about that particular piece. If, at that time, you would like to see a full-screen rendition of that artwork, then click on the circular icon found in the top right-hand corner of the page on which that artwork is displayed. Click a second time to return to that artwork information page.

Shipping rates will apply depending on the size of the artwork ordered and can only be calculated to your location at the time of ordering.

Everyday Care Of Your Metal Artwork

For handling to ensure longevity, I suggest using cotton gloves or powder-free rubber gloves. You can clean your artwork with a Micro Fiber cloth by itself or with window cleaner, LCD panel cleaner, Simple Green, etc. If there is a particularly stubborn sticky stain, you can use a product like Goof Off.

For hanging, make certain you use a sturdy hanging system, although aluminum metal artwork does not weigh very much.

Even though the artwork's surface is mostly scratch resistant, the edges and corners can either ding or chip. So, please ensure to carry it carefully and not drop or bang it around.

Digital Files

If people prefer to do their own printing, I can send a print-ready digital file. This will be at 300dpi and full resolution in jpeg file format. This file size will occupy up to 50MB of data space, so please have space available for storage.

Digital files are charged at US$75 per image and payable via PayPal.
