One of my favorite captures from Toguchi Beach in Okinawa is a sunset scene where the shoreline transforms into something almost dreamlike. Using ND filters, I was able to smooth the motion of the waves into a silky flow that contrasts beautifully with the textured rocks and tide pools along the coast. As the sun sank low on the horizon, the sky shifted into a soft palette of pastel hues — gentle pinks, muted oranges, and whispers of lavender blending seamlessly together. Standing there, watching the light fade and the ocean melt into stillness, I felt a deep sense of calm that I hoped to carry into the image itself.
