Listed here are the current mixture of events, trips, expeditions and workshops I currently offer as the principle photographic and video tutor here at SEAWILDEARTH. Prior to the emergence of the Coronavirus emergency these events were linked to information pages outlining the details of each. As we are currently emerging form a period of almost 2yrs with limited tourism and as things start to once again pick up speed there is the hope that I will soon recommence with jungle tours for those visitors in Okinawa who are not residents of the island or Japan in general. From a personal standpoint I am both double vaccinated with having had a booster vaccination also.
These treks are more about introducing non-photographers to the incredible wildlife found in Okinawa. You'l be amazed at the diversity of wildlife that exists under the green canopy of the Yambaru. A range of locations and environments suited to all age groups and abilities.
An all day and night workshop focusing on techniques best suited to photographing the range of wildlife found in Okinawa. From there a night trek into the jungles to put into practice the learnings of the day. Iconic wildlife await the adventurous photographer.
There's nothing like capturing the amazing spectacle of the Milky Way in the night skies above Okinawa. This workshop teaches you all there is to know about planning and executing awesome Milky Way photography including shooting Panoramas and posed models.
A wildlife adventure designed for younger family members, and adults, without the long drive to the jungles of northern Okinawa. Yomitan is home to a wide diversity of wildlife including enigmatic and endangered species too!
Of all wildlife in Okinawa the reputation of the three species of Habu, precedes them. Varying in size from 80cm up to 6ft they have varying strengths of venom, and attitude. Level heads required for this imaging subject.
I will be teaching you a full range of techniques and some personal tricks to help take your landscape imaging to the next level. To top that off I will also be providing all professional grade ND Filters for the three attendees.
