Bathed in Turquoise lagoons the Kerama Islands to the east of the main island of Okinawa are some of the most picturesque islands in the prefecture. Known for their crystalline, warm and inviting waters they are also home to a large permanent population of Sea Turtles, many of which can be seen grazing in the shallows on a daily basis. One of the main attractions of the region is the ability to be able to swim alongside these awesome creatures in designated areas throughout the islands.
