Stoked to say that this pile of rocks is literally a five minute walk from my apartment in Okinawa. It’s the perfect place to shoot long exposure imagery especially when shooting this image the Ocean was relatively agitated. All it takes to tame the raging seas is a super long exposure, in this case 300sec or 5min. The waters become a silken carpet that transport the hues of a tropical sunset. On this particular day the palette was significantly one of suave pastels.
