A wave rises up from the depths and forms a downward descending peak. This was happening right next to me as two energy waves were meeting at 30 degree angles to each other. This ebergy meeting funneled the energy to a point that would at times rise up into a clean almost thin triangular peak that would on occasion just fold over, as in this image, in a clean and almost unbroken column. Quite wild to see, and it all happened in the blink of an eye.
