Domestic Arrival

Print Description

A wavelet arrives on a beach in the northern confines of the main island at sunset. Could it have originated in the neighboring island of Yoron or Amami Oshima? Could it be from further afield, yet from within national boundaries? Irrespective of the origin and as all imagery in this vein, it allows the mind to wander and speculate as to it’s origin and trajectory. Not to mention the conditions and sights it may have endured in its lifetime.
