My home stretch of sand on the island of Okinawa, Toguchi Beach in Yomitan is a favorite spot for me to shoot all manner of sunset and experimental Ocean photography. It’s not uncommon to see numerous photographers on these sands engaged in numerous genres of imaging from wedding to families, pet photography and the traditional sunset shoots. I love being in the waters here. At times it is also a spot that offers surfing and even listening to the passing Humpback Whales as they traverse the waters just offshore between November and March.
