It’s not always a stunning reef that lays below the Ocean surface. Sometimes it can be dark, foreboding and unknowing. One good thing about the Ocean is that it can be used as a setting to create a mood, any mood, depending on how one edits the final image. This composition was actually shot on a nice and warm summers day with just a little chop to the Ocean. As this small wave was breaking I was able to be in such a position as to ensure this roll like aesthetic to the final capture.
One beauty about photographing the liquid medium is that there is little chance that any two images could ever be exactly the same, making them unique in every sense.
