It’s just a pile of rocks by the side of the road in the very North of the main island of Okinawa. I can sit for hours here, moving just five feet one side or another yields another potential composition. This is my ideal spot for trying out new combinations of both solid and graduated ND Filters as there is just so much motion in the water when it cascades over and around these granite boulders. I’ve also never seen a day here when the Ocean is completely calm, there is always movement and motion to be photographed, turned into art, at thus calming location. This is one of the spots I bring landscape photography students when looking to work with and master ND Filter use.
