When the Ocean Folds

Print Description

It is always an impressive sight to see what is called a slab wave when they evolve and crash back into the Ocean. A ‘slab’ can best be described as a supremely thick wave that seems to carry the weight of the Ocean behind it as opposed to a traditional wave that descends from its own stature. Slabs tend to have no actual peak as such, they simply appear to be a fold in the Ocean.
